BREAKING! Trump to win! How will market react?

The US election is here. In this newsletter, we will cover how to make gains and win, no matter who the next US president will be.

The future of cryptocurrency is at stake right now, and the outcome of the US presidential election will indicate whether we are in a good position to make GREAT GAINS in the following months.

Let's delve deeper into the election, how the market might react, and strategies for making money.

US Election - Will it spark a massive altseason?

The most significant event of the year is already underway with early voting, and the difference between candidates on their stance towards the crypto industry couldn't be clearer.

Donald Trump often describes himself as a pro-Bitcoin president. He has launched several NFT collections and spoke at a Bitcoin conference in Nashville back in the summer of 2024. Trump has also suggested he might completely eliminate income tax on crypto profits or propose that the Federal Reserve partially holds Bitcoin.

On the other hand, Kamala Harris has indicated that her presidency would largely continue Joe Biden's policies, which have been known for their stringent approach towards cryptocurrencies.

Election Day (Nov 5th) - What to Expect in the Markets

We are already witnessing significant volatility in the markets, particularly in the crypto sector, in the days leading up to the election. Bitcoin had a notable rally at the end of October, nearly reaching its all-time high, but crashed to as low as $67,700 (at the time of writing) just 24 hours before the election.

This volatility is classic market behavior that we typically see around major events (elections, rate cuts, ETFs...).

I am personally not worried at all and have anticipated this move since the summer when I began drafting my plan for the (post-)election market behavior.

On Election Day, as soon as we start getting the first results from each state, I expect MASSIVE volatility in the market. If you recall what Bitcoin was doing back in July when Trump spoke at the Bitcoin conference, I expect volatility to be ten times greater.

Market makers will attempt to liquidate everyone, both shorts and longs, and the price will likely fluctuate between $65,000 and $70,000 even before we can definitively say who will become the next US president.

I strongly suggest you sit and watch this market volatility without opening shorts or longs, unless you are a very experienced trader.

Winner is Announced - Ready to Moon?

It is expected that the vote counting will take longer than in previous years. I found a good article from The New York Times covering each state and when we will likely be able to "call" the state for either candidate.

If you've watched US elections a bit, you know we're basically watching seven swing states that will decide who the next president will be. Other states traditionally go to one or the other candidate with a significant margin (10%+), and not winning these states would be a HUGE surprise.

However, results from other states will likely show us the voting trends and what we can expect from the swing states.

Even though the polls are showing a very tight race, I believe we will know around 11:30 PM ET on November 5th who the winner will be, and that it will be Donald Trump.

Trump Wins

As soon as the legacy media announce that Donald Trump is the winner, Bitcoin will instantly start pumping. Based on the BTC price crash from the past days, I am now confident that traders will instantly jump on the bandwagon after seeing DJT winning the election.

The whole market, degens on X, and business media will start FOMOing into Bitcoin, and it will very likely start the brutal Bitcoin run and then the altcoin season that we all have been praying for.

Any dip would be a golden opportunity to buy, but I doubt there would be any serious dips for the following weeks.

The market will be bullish for the rest of this year and most likely for several months in 2025 when it would peak. However, we will be able to make a perfect prediction for 2025 by the end of this year!

Kamala Wins (please no)

As soon as the legacy media announce that Kamala Harris is the winner, Bitcoin will drastically dump in the first minutes/hours. The community will turn into panic, which will last several days and could have caused a severe price crash in the short term.

By the end of November, Bitcoin would stabilize, and crypto experts would start finding positive aspects of Harris’ presidency towards crypto to mitigate the losses a bit.

Crypto would slowly recover by the end of the year, but I doubt it would find a new all-time high soon - definitely not this year.

We would likely see some kind of altseason in the early months of 2025, but it wouldn’t be anything spectacular that we all expect from an altseason. Still, it might hopefully give us a chance to make solid gains and exit the markets before the bear market begins again.

Summary

The current market pullback is typical behavior right before an election. Do not get distracted. We will see lots of volatility during Election Day, and as soon as the winner is called, we will either pump to Valhalla or experience a short-term price crash shock.

Any dip is there for buying. If Trump wins, we will make ourselves insanely rich soon.

If Kamala wins, we will make some money over a longer period, with a lot of pain and depression stemming from the short-term price crash.
